This piece titled “Busting Out Baselitz Too” created in 2023, is a commanding acrylic on canvas that exemplifies Frances Bildner’s mastery of emotive abstraction. To me personally this work is drenched in a sophisticated palette of gold, charcoal, and white. Which hits the light dramatically. Its dynamic, swirling brushwork creates a powerful sense of movement and emotional immediacy, characteristic of the German Expressionist influence.

For me It serves as a masterful representative of the exhibition’s overarching energy and a testament to Bildner’s command of the medium.
